| 2008 Citizen of the Year The Great Garage Band Reunion was honored as "Citizen of the Year" by the Northeast Regional Springtime Festival committee as a part of Killingly Day at Dodd Stadium during a Connecticut Defenders home game on June 26, 2008. The plaque reads in part: "In Recognition of the Band's Many Benefit Performances for Charitable Causes Through Northeastern Connecticut."
